Shipping & Delivery

Please note we send small items by royal mail postal services.  Larger items are sent out by carrier; (either Fed Ex or Interlink) for insurance purposes a signature will be required on receipt of your delivery, however you can e-mail giving authority for the item to be left at your risk to sales@caravanshop.co

The carriage cost shown is for delivery in the UK mainland area only. If you require delivery outside of this area please contact us before ordering.

We try to send orders out as quickly as we can, if for any reason we have any problem with your order we will contact you via e-mail.If you need to enquire about any aspect of your order please either e-mail sales@caravanshop.co or ring the shop on 0191 268 8111 (we are open Mon -Sat 8.00am-5.00pm)

We can deliver to any address (eg work etc). It is possible to specify the day you require delivery if necessary; simply contact us if you wish to arrange this.

In the interest of the environment we aim to use recycled packaging whenever possible, so please excuse us if sometimes the description on the box/wrapper looks strange or the inner packing is old newspaper! Rest assured it will always be packed with extreme care.

Please note - next day delivery is from only £2.99 multiple purchases will be capped at the highest single item rate(exc Highlands and Islands where a surcharge of  £11.50 will apply, we will call for payment on receipt of your order)

Goods will be delivered to UK mainland only as stated in our delivery information section on the web site. We aim to deliver goods in stock as quickly as possible however if you require a guaranteed delivery date please contact the shop to arrange this.

The maximum period for delivery of stock items would be 14 days, unless specifically agreed with the customer.


Privacy & Security
We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer details with any 3rd parties

Errors and Omissions: We strive to keep our website accurate, up to date and error free. However, whilst every effort has been made to make them so. No responsibility can be accepted for errors and omissions. We reserve the right to alter our prices and specifications without notice.

Data Protection and Privacy: Any details which you provide to us from which we can identify you are held and processed lawfully and in accordance with the Data Protection act1998.

When an order is placed we will request information from the user as required. Here a user must provide contact information (like name, shipping address, landline telephone number) and financial information (like credit card number, expiry date) this information is used for billing purposes and to contact customers in case of difficulty in processing an order

We use an outside shipping company to ship orders, and a credit card processing company to bill for goods and services. Details of these companies may be obtained by writing to the Caravan Shop.

Security: This website takes precautions to protect users information. When sensitive information is submitted via the website, that information is encrypted and is protected with SSL. The servers on which we store personal information are kept in a secure environment.

Copyright: The content of this website may not be copied, reproduced, downloaded or used in any form without the prior written notice of the Caravan Shop.

Jurisdiction: The courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction over all claims or disputes arising in relation to, out of, or in connection with this website and its use and these terms and conditions.


Returns & Replacements

Return of goods policy: Goods can be returned for a full refund (including delivery costs) if they are faulty or if the wrong item has been dispatched within 14 days of receipt of goods. If you require to do this please e-mail with details of the fault or ring the shop on 0191 268 8111.  Refunds will be made for qualifying goods within ten days of receipt of returns.

If the goods have been dispatched as ordered but are unwanted they can be returned to us within 3 months of the purchase order for repayment or exchange. Any delivery charges incurred are non –repayable. The goods must be unused, have their original packaging and labelling, and be accompanied by the original delivery note. Nothing in these conditions affects your statutory rights as a consumer. The card used for the original purchase will be credited for the amount due.


Ordering

We get authorisation from your card at the time we receive your order, once we have checked your card details and stock availability. Your card will be debited for goods that are in stock and ready for dispatch. Goods are subject to availability. In the unlikely event that we are unable to supply the goods, we will inform you of this via e-mail or post as soon as possible. A full refund will be given where you have already paid for the goods.

Out of Stock: In the unlikely event that an item you have ordered is out of stock you will be contacted via e- mail or post and given the option of holding the item on back order or cancelling your order.


Payment, Pricing & Promotions

The price you pay is the price displayed on this website at the time we receive your order apart from the following exceptions:

While we try and ensure that all prices on our website are accurate, errors may occur. If we discover an error in the price of the goods you have ordered we will inform you as soon as possible and give you the option of reconfirming your order at the correct price or cancelling it. If we are unable to contact you we will treat the order as cancelled. If you cancel and have already paid for the goods you will receive a full refund.

Method of payment: You can pay by Visa, Master Card, Switch, Maestro& Electron through the website or cheque or postal order via post. When paying by card it is imperative that you provide the cardholder’s name as it appears on the card, and address of the cardholder as it appears on the statement. No responsibility can be taken by The Caravanshop Shop for incorrect or incomplete details submitted on the website. Orders without this information will not be successfully processed. Card fraud is illegal and perpetrators will be prosecuted in all cases.

How to order: All orders can be placed online through the website. Please do not e-mail your card details. No responsibility can be taken for the security of your details if given this way. All orders subject to availability.


Viewing Orders

You will be emailed a copy of your order so please keep this for your reference. If you would like to create an account you can do so at any time and this will keep track of all your purchases made with us.
